Moko Oxygen

Moko Oxygen does not like the limelight. She prefers a pseudonym. She lives in Japan, in the beautiful city of Kyoto. She has a very regular job, diligently working in a factory.

I find her work to be amazing. In what is probably a sharp contrast to the ‘real’ world she lives in, her art lives in a fantastic, imaginary world which never fails to drag me in. By her own account, her desire is to ‘draw an imaginary world, where I wander with the mantas, whales and other sea animals, and go anywhere they feel like taking me. I imagine colobockles (mythical creatures from Japan) appear and get into mischief all around me (and get me in trouble too!)’

Moko has been drawing for years. She has always wanted to exhibit her work to a wider audience, and hopes that Cards Alive can help her with this.

We’ll certainly try our best!
